Old Fashioned Lemonade


Ingredients

2 C water
1 C sugar
1.5 T fresh-squeezed lemon juice
Mint leaves

Directions

Cook 1 C water and the sugar for 3 minutes, until a simple syrup is formed. Refrigerate until cool.

For each serving, mix 3-4 T syrup with 1.5 T lemon juice and 1 C water.

Pour into chilled, ice-filled glasses. Add a sprig of washed mint leaves.

This quick and easy drink is perfect for summertime entertaining. Guests will enjoy passing a summer afternoon sipping this drink and relaxing in your home. A tray full of these with special cookies welcomes family and guests!
