Recipe

Mom's Buttermilk Pancakes

Ingredients

1 C buttermilk
1/4 C milk
1 C flour
1 Tsp baking soda
1/8 Tsp salt
3 T butter, melted
1 Egg

Directions

Mix dry ingredients.

Mix wet ingredients.

Mix all together briefly.

Heat greased griddle 'til water drops dance on it. Pour batter into desired shapes, and heat until it bubbles and flip.

You can add blueberries or banana slices to each pancake while one side is cooking, then flip to cook other side.

On Mother's Day my dad helped us make my mom's buttermilk pancakes. We'd pour batter from a small pitcher onto the hot griddle in the shape of her initials and hearts!
