Holly Cookies


Ingredients

1/2 Teaspoon green food coloring
1/4 Cup butter
30 regular-size marshmallows (not mini)
3 cups corn flakes
Red-hots cinnamon candies

Directions

Melt marshmallows, butter, and food coloring in double boiler (or a large pan). Pour over flakes. Drop onto buttered surface (so they don't stick). Decorate with three red hots each. (Work quickly!)

My Jennifer was so excited about these wreath holly cookies when her grade school friend, Lisa Eigenbrodt, made them. This fall Lisa introduced me as speaker to a Parent Teacher League event and triggered that memory.
