Recipe

Breakfast Blend from my event personal "concierge", Ruby Prochnow, on my June trip to Minnesota. She is backing me up in this photo, with former Woman to Woman® guest Jan Struck of struckwithlaughter.org/ to my right and Eloise Kuhlmann of TX to my left. Amazing women...all!


Ingredients

2 c. thick rolled oatmeal
1 c. rolled wheat
1 c. rolled barley
1/2 c. rolled rye
1/2 c. bran (oat or wheat)
4 c. millet
2 Tbsp cornmeal
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
Water
Walnut pieces or other nuts as desired
Bananas, raspberries, apples or blueberries, or other fruit as desired
Ground flax
Milk as desired

Directions

Blend the oatmeal, wheat, barley, bran, millet, cornmeal and sesame seeds. In microwave able dish add 1/3 to 1/2 cup of the mixture and equal amounts of water. Microwave 1 to 2 1/2 minutes depending on the strength of the microwave. It may be come pasty if cooked too long.

Add walnut pieces or other nuts as desired
Add fruit, such as, bananas, raspberries, apples or blueberries etc
Top with ground flax and add milk

Ruby's husband jump starts their day with the breakfast blend. I plan to use it with my fave, carrots/parsley/apple slices in my juicer. That and a little morning devotion help me handle whatever's on the schedule for the day!
