Sweet Southern Tea


Ingredients

2 Tea bags, family size [Use your favorite brand.]
2 lemons [Washed and squeezed for juice. Save rinds.]
2 oranges [Washed and squeezed for juice. Save rinds.]
1 C sugar
8 C boiling water
1 bunch mint
2 whole cloves

Directions

Steep tea bags in boiling water and add remaining ingredients, including the washed rinds. Let steep 30 minutes. Cool in refrigerator in glass pitcher until needed. Serve over ice. Keeps one week. Makes 2 quarts.


I know you can buy sweet tea in plastic gallons, but treat yourself to this beverage and you'll thank me all the way through Fall!
