John Splinter and Cindy Jensen

Cindy Jensen is a career coach and provides business professionals with career management advising. She works with Washington University in St. Louis, Olin Business School alumni, and Professional MBA (PMBA) students. Additionally, she developed and instructs the PMBA Career Navigator Course at Olin.
Jensen is also a senior consultant with Lee Hecht Harrison, a global leader for human capital and career management solutions. She has more than 20 years of training and consulting experience, coaching her own company's (ComQuest) clients to effectively communicate in various business settings. She is also the executive director of Second Chapter, a St. Louis nonprofit organization dedicated to divorce recovery and rebuilding for men and women.
Education includes doing graduate studies in clinical social work at Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. Her bachelor of arts degree is in business management and professional communications from Alverno College in Milwaukee. Jensen and her husband, Joe Clarke, have four children.


John Splinter is the executive director of the National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families' St. Louis office.
Splinter's first ten years in ministry were as area director of Young Life, first in Winnipeg, Canada, and then St. Louis. Subsequent ministry activities have included 15 years as director of Singles Ministries, and nearly ten years serving in the capacity of pastor. He was also the chaplain to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL) for a number of years. He is also the founder of the Network of Single Adults and Second Chapter divorce recovery ministries.
His academic training includes a bachelor of arts from Bethel College and a master's in Christian Education from Bethel Seminary, both in St. Paul, Minnesota; a master's in Counseling Psychology from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri; and a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Louis University.
Splinter has authored three books: Complete Divorce Recovery Handbook, The, The Healing Path: A Guide for Women Rebuilding Their Lives After Sexual Abuse and Second Chapter: New Beginnings After Divorce or Separation.
Splinter and his wife, Marcia, have three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
