Dan Wooley

Featured on Woman to Woman on June 19, 2010.

Dan Woolley works with Colorado Springs-based Compassion International. His forthcoming book, Unshaken, will be released by Zondervan Publishing House in January 2011. It recounts his dramatic 65-hour survival amidst the fallen wreckage of the Hotel Montana in Port-au-Prince, the Haitian capital devastated by a 7.0 earthquake in January. His story of survival has been featured on NBC's Today Show, Larry King Live, CNN, and in publications like Wired, The Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, and on National Public Radio.

Woolley spends his time fighting child poverty by using social media, writing, and speaking-all in an effort to inspire others toward engagement in this much-needed humanitarian pursuit. He is also interested in helping nonprofits expand their impact and reach via the use of technology. He and his wife Christy have two sons.
