Overall

I have enjoyed the book club very much. Sometimes the books chosen are ones that I may not have ever picked up to read but I have learned something from each book. I enjoyed Leota's Garden. It was dificult to feel close to Leota in the beginning but as the story unfolds you understand more about her. The Shack gives you a different perspective on faith. With Mistaken Identity I thought I had heard enough about this on the news but I learned so much more about these two devout families.

Book Suggestions

I would like to suggest the book " Shattered silence" by Melissa G Moore. Melissa shares her life as the daughter of a serial killer.. It is an " uplifting story of optimism and discovering joy.It will insire us to face our own challenges with an attitude of hope.

Impact

I started a chapter with some friends and we are loving it! What an excellent reason to get together. The questions listed online make it so easy. I can't wait to see what books are coming up.
