She's Somebody's Daughter
Nancy Flowers has been involved in full-time ministry for 20 years. Previously, she had a successful career at Chicago-based WMAQ-TV. Her experiences - both personal and ministerial - provide her with valuable insight into tough topics like abuse. Drawing from her past, she offers hope and encouragement to others who have been negatively impacted by abuse in their lives. Flowers is particularly dedicated to protecting the innocence of children. For her first book, Tell Somebody It Happened To Me, she created the characters of Jacob and Josie to show children how to respond to inappropriate behavior. Her desire is to spare as many children as possible from becoming adults who struggle with issues that could have been prevented.
Flowers and her husband, Victor, have been married 33 years and live in Bourbonnais, Illinois. They are the parents of four children and have four grandchildren.
